Get Rich Sick

Sick of the corporate rat-race? Under appreciated? Under compensated? Are you ready for a REAL opportunity that will finally pay you what you are worth?
Congratulations. You’re exactly the kind of sucker that we’re looking for.
Because I make a small (very small) fortune trading on the pain and frustration of the working stiff, I’m probably the last person on earth who should refuse to pass the gravy boat. Yet, I do feel protective of the grouchy and disaffected, and hate to see my audience ripped off by anyone who isn’t me.
That’s right, Michael Leroux, I’m talking about y-o-u.
Mr. Leroux is the man behind SuccessByChoice.net, the web site that spewed out the painful questions I pose in the first paragraph, and which offers, as balm to the universal agony of the 9-to-5’er, a success system that “not only allows you the potential to double or triple your income working from home, but also includes wealth building opportunities you normally wouldn’t have access to and will allow you to RETIRE WEALTHY IN A FEW YEARS.”
What exactly the magic system will have you doing, other than making endless trips to the bank, is kept a mystery – a neat feat for a web site that prints out to 19 pages. We do learn what the system isn’t. It isn’t multi-level marketing. It requires no stockpiling of products (Good news! I don’t care how rich I am going to be. If it involves cleaning out the garage, I’m not interested.) There’s no cold calling, nor will it have you “chasing after family and friends.” (So give up trying to get your Bucky Covington CDs back.)
Despite the cloak of secrecy that covers the actual mechanism of the business, we do learn quite a lot about our SuccessByChoice mentor, Mr. Leroux. An ex-federal law enforcement officer, he is pictured on the home page, casually dressed in jeans (rumpled) and a sport shirt (untucked), posing next to a Cadillac Escalade. Though he looks like he’s 16 in the photo, his bio tells us he has been married to wife, Monique, for 21 years and they have two children. He also “lives life on his own terms,” which, in his own terms, means taking endless vacations to “luxury five stars resorts around the world.”
Michael also introduces us to a dozen individuals who, unlike thee and me, have unshackled themselves from the chains of the bi-weekly paycheck to become bi-coastal party animals. One of the people who is not on the list is Jay Kubassek, and that is surprising, since Mr. Kubassak also operates a web site offering an opportunity to escape the corporate world for riches and freedom.
“I am on a personal mission to create at least another 100 millionaires over the next 5 years in the direct sales industry,” Kubassek says from the home page of dream-wealth.com. Though both spokesmodels take the same approach, the same language, and often, the same vacation, Kubassek and Leroux are two very different breeds of con.
For example, Jay has decided to spend a sliver of his wealth on a “custom built BMW” instead of that gas-gulping, greenhouse-gas-belching Escalade. Jay also has a “custom built gold fish pond” in his “beautiful home” to go with his Beemer. I imagine he is also working on some custom built gold fish, but that may take some time.
Jay is also a more open about how we will escape gainful employment and gain admission to world of the rich and the custom built. We will be selling “legitimate stand alone products.” And though Jay also assures us that his plan is not multi-level marketing, he does have us “helping 20 people each make $15,000/month, and this would pay you $40,000 a month, PLUS residual income.”
Heck, if I could convince 20 people to lend me $10 a month, I’d never work again.
One interesting similarity between these two philanthropic individuals is that the exact same people, giving the exact same testimonials, appear on both of their sites. Incredibly, Michael Leroux (AKA “Mike”), the ex-federal Law enforcement office, provides a spirited testimonial for Jay. Jay doesn’t return the favor for Mike, however. I suppose you get a little arrogant when you have a custom made gold fish pond.
If you want to pursue either of these opportunities, fine with me. But I hope some of you stick around at the office, grousing and gossiping. I’d hate if I was the only one left to complain.

Turns out the "stand-alone" products are overpriced financial education products you can find elsewhere for about 1/10th the cost. Entry level is $1500, which includes Sandi Botkin's tax stategies course ($250 directly from Sandi) and contact information for alliances that will help you build wealth. The so-called alliances happen to offer services to anyone, not just WMI members. Did I mention the alliances charge hefty fees for their services?
...having access to the best of the best is what it's all about. As a nation we are on a collision course financially. People claim to be able to do a better job on their own yet we spend more time planning our vacations than we do our finances and retirement. We blindly hand our money over to individuals who supposedly have our best interests at heart only to be lumped into a class based on our income and risk tolerance and the plans the so-called financial experts get the highest commission from. Utilizing the alliances I, personally, was able to return my initial investment x4. Unlike to the myriad of Health & Wellness companies out there, this is the ONE business that actually pays for itself - and that's without taking advantage of the biz opp. So the choice is yours - spend your days grumbling around the water coler about how much your boss sucks and how much you are under-appreciated each Friday (you know - the weekly slap in the face called your pay check) or can do something about it and take charge of your life, your finances and assist others do the same. My recommendation...do your research. Read Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, Warren Buffet and hear what they have to say about the $430 billion Network Marketing Industry.
My question to you is, do you actually know either Micheal Leroux or Jay Kubassek personally? I happen to and can testify that these are both wonderful individuals who HAVE helped several people achieve financial freedom, including myself!
Mr. Goldman, Did you even bother giving either of these two gentleman a phone call or email to learn more about what they do, and who they are?
How disrespectful of you to write an article on two people you are too lazy to even interview, based solely on your opinions. You have managed to only very clearly show us your true character. I am glad that complainers and critics like yourself are relegated to office cubicles... please stay there.

Hey Mr. Goldman, how's it going? How was traffic today? And your cubicle ;-)
Thank God, I'm one of those "suckers" who was lucky enough to escape Corporate America, and now work from home in my shorts and flip-flops -- making more money than I ever did as a Sr. Systems Analyst for one of the worlds largest benefits consulting firms!
Yeah... guess they "consulted" themself into outsourcing the jobs of me and other loyal worker-bees -- possibly to add to the $$ take of the CEO.
"Oh NO!" you say. They'd NEVER do such a thing! It's only in those "work from home schemes" where all the money goes to the top!
HA!
And, what about "overpriced products"?
Do you think that soft-drink at McDonald's is "worth" $1.50? Is the double-shot, non-fat Lattle at Starbucks really worth $5.00?
Or, what about the Attorney that charges $200 for a 30 minute consultation?
Wake up Mr. Goldman. We live in a new world where people profit from selling.
And, the smart ones do it from home!

I just started with the company and the marketing system delivers. I don't think you should write about something until you get the correct information. We are glad that you don't get it, don't quit your day job.
I advise everyone to (a) read the "get-out" clause on the websites - no promises of anything, no responsibility taken, etc., and (b) speak to someone who remembers other "get rich quick" schemes (c) take heed of Mr Goldman's observation that after 19 pages of contradictory blurb, you are still no nearer knowing anything about the company and people to whom you are about to give money.
I have not bothered to look through everything but I've got $10 that says there is no list of people who invested and no list of their present income.
Oh, how I wish I'd invested in a REAL "get-rich-quick" scheme!

I'm a CCPro member. It's a totally legitimate system selling a totally legitimate product. I've paid my investment after four months of modest effort.
Jay and all the poeple I've met at CCPro are on the up-and-up. My blog is a weekly testimonial that includes my report of both the good and the bad: http://michaeljameslee.blogspot.com

I think all these comments are from people who have been either brainwashed or paid $5 to say that crap works. You are right all those websites promise you millions if you give them hundreds but they never clearly state how or when unless they get your money first. How convenient.
I just learned about this opportunity today, so I don't know if it works or not. I find it amusing that so many people say that they are disapointed that the program is not explained before they pay. That's the point. That's why you pay for services. If they tell you what and how they accomplish their financial status, they would not gat anything from you because you could just go out and do it.
Investment in yourself and your financial education "outside" of college MBAs is not only essential, but responsible. However, how would you go about finding the right investments and information to ensure your future? Does your cubicle-creating your shrinking 401K or SS fill up the whole "pie" chart of what you will need in the future? Wake up!
It's up to us to take the initiative to align ourselves with the best of the best - with a slight catch. WMI is not about getting rich quick and walking away. If that is what you see, it's not for you. Internet Marketing is a way to reach individuals, but I can personally vouch for meeting the individuals behind the web sites - they are real and do contribute to changing lives. Watch Jamie Johnson's The One Percent documentary to see how the wealthy really don't get it! We are very fortunate to be with wealthy individuals who do get it. But, it's up to you...lead a horse to water, but can't make them drink, right?

My name is Mihailo Kovac and I tried Jay's system. It's waste of time and money and I'd be more than glad to provide more details to anyone who would like more information. What a scam, but it's all my fault because I was greedy and stupid.
Its not about the so called scheme or the over priced product. Hell, there's very little true value left left in the market. It's all about precieved value and how much work you are willing put in to it to make your endeavor a success. A small percentage of budding entrepreneurs are suceesful, like "Mike", because they are willing to pursue their dream through untill they do succeed. Also, Wealth Masters International is a very legtimate company with legtimate products.
Unfortunately, human nature leads us to judge others although we shouldn't. We are all guilty of it in one form or another.
I had the pleasure to meet Mike and his family in person. They are indeed good people.
Mike and I were involved in our first internet business together. I did not know him before hand. Mike actually signed me up from an ad I answered on line. Mike was actually doing well with his business. I failed miserably and, I blame myself.
What you don't see in his sites is that he is on his third "business opportunity" that I know of. The companies Mike gets involved with lead to "program hopping" as they become saturated at some point and participants get more difficult to come by.
As far as I'm concerned, every program out there has an "earnings disclaimer". It's up to the individual to get by all the hype and read the fine print. I know... I have been taken in by many programs myself.
In opposition to Mike's "online business path", I chose to learn the exact aspect of online business and marketing. All I will say is that I am in for the long haul... there is no need to program hop as I build any business from scratch.
I haven't had contact with Mike for quite some time. I know from personal experience that he will try to help as much as he can in building his downline member's businesses. After all, it will benefit him in the long run!
